WHAT ARE YOUR IDENTITIES?
Hong Konger, Female, chronically ill/ physically disabled, survivor, Christian, Sister, Friend, Advocate,
WHO ARE YOUR PEOPLE?
My family and friends who have believed in me even when I didn’t believe in myself
WHAT ARE YOU MOST PROUD OF?
My resilience, how I can see the bright side of bad situations (most of the time) 😛
WHY UW/SCH?
I felt like this was a program that actually listened to their residents and made changes to the program. This
was also a program I felt like “walked the walk” in addition to “talking the talk” in regards to JEDI efforts.
Everyone was so welcoming and friendly, and I felt like people were genuinely good people here. I am a wimp
about the cold, so I was happy to be here where it wasn’t -928342 degrees in the winter. I was debating
between several programs, but I am really happy to have matched here!
ON MY DAYS OFF I LIKE TO…
Nap, explore the great PNW with “hikes”, go to the ocean, partake in a good sale, eat cheese, pretend to be
bougie at local wineries
WHAT’S NEXT?
Doing residency while not being as able bodied as everyone else and taking more meds than an average
grandma, food recs in the area, my love for costco.
