What drew you to the Alaska Track?

My dad’s side of the family is Koyukon Athabascan Alaska Native and I am passionate about indigenous health! I also think it’s an incredible opportunity to train at a tertiary hospital system in Seattle along with the unique Alaska component. I’m grateful for the variety I get in my Alaska months: primary care clinic, school clinic, and rotating in a community hospital with pediatric, newborn, and NICU services. The faculty are incredible people and teachers, and the track feels like home within a larger residency program.

What would be your perfect day off?

Hiking to a hot spring in winter or glacial lake in summer!

What was your childhood dream job?

Mermaid
