David Lopez

David Lopez is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Politics at New York University. He holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of Washington. His research sits at the intersection of historical sociology and comparative political economy with a focus on state formation, elite ideology, and the development of mass education in Europe and the Americas. David also has active research on the relationship between subnational state capacity and public attitudes toward redistribution.
