Samuel Seljan

 

Samuel Seljan is a Senior Director of Data Science at Xandr, the advertising technology division of WarnerMedia (which owns CNN, Turner, Warner Bros, and HBO).

At Xandr, he leads a team of Data Scientists that design and build large-scale machine learning algorithms that power its digital advertising marketplace. These algorithms provide a variety of services including forecasting, revenue optimization, reserve price optimization, traffic filtering, web content classification and content policy enforcement.

He earned his Ph.D. in Political Science from UC San Diego in 2010 and remains interested in political crises, public opinion, and evidence-based policy.
