Yu Sasaki

Yu Sasaki is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Law and the School of International Studies at Kanazawa University, Japan, and a Research Associate in the Institute of Economic Research at Hitotsubashi University. He specializes in comparative politics and political economy. His research examines broadly how cultural development in the past affects contemporary economic and political performance among states. His work has appeared in the Journal of Economic History and Social Science History. He received a Ph.D. in political science from the University of Washington.
