Interested in winning $500-$1000 for work you’ve been doing in your classes? Check out the UW Library Research Award for Undergraduates. Any UW undergrad (individual or group) may apply! You’ll need:
- Completed application form
- Essay (500-1000 words)
- Research project (could be a PDF, MS PowerPoint slides, DVD/CD, URL, artwork, or other formats), including a bibliography
- Letter of support from a faculty member
I’ll be posting some pointers every week here in the UW Tacoma Library blog, but we love to answer questions as they occur to you! Some of your inquiries might be addressed in our Frequently Asked Questions on the award site and we would love to hear from you via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also stop by the Research Help desk in SNO or schedule a free writing consultation with the Teaching and Learning Center.
These awards have been made possible by The Kenneth S. and Faye G. Allen Library Endowment, the Friends of the Libraries, and the Population Health Initiative!
