Fall Hours

UW Tacoma Library at night

Welcome to the first full academic year of the UW Tacoma Library’s new operating hours! In Winter 2018, the Library was able to expand our hours – something long requested by students. We expanded our evening and morning hours to provide support before classes and provide study space late at night. These hours apply to both the Snoqualmie Building and the Library occupied floors of the Tioga Library Building.

Many Library services are available all hours of operation, such as study rooms, printing, book and media checkout, reserve checkout, and all our loanable equipment – laptops, calculators, headphones, and so much more. Some services, such as Research Help and our robust IT support are still only available at peak times, but the students and staff who work our early and late hours are still eager to help you as best they can, and many of our services are available online, such as the 24/7 Research Help chat.

Students, please remember that your current UW Husky Card is required for entry into the Library after 9 pm Monday-Thursday. IDs are checked upon entry.
