This August we ventured to the great outdoors of Washington. We hiked to the gorgeous Lake Colchuck in the Central Cascades: a bright aquamarine glacial lake, just ripe for swimming. At night we caught a glimpse of the spectacular Perseid meteor shower, cooked and hung out around the fire.
