Hannah Perry

Hannah grew up in Chehalis, Washington. She graduated from Pacific Lutheran University with her B.S. in Biochemistry, with a minor in Hispanic Studies. At PLU, Hannah became interested in learning about how the brain works and the impacts sleep and injuries have on brain function. After joining the Vaughan Lab, Hannah is working with super-resolution imaging of the brain and kidney to identify histone mark and gene expression differences in healthy, diseased, and senescent tissues.

Outside of school, Hannah enjoys many things such as playing tennis (she played 4 years at PLU), playing multiple instruments (violin, piano, bass, etc.), reading (mainly fantasy), painting, drawing, photography, hiking in the PNW, and traveling to new places.
