Yuka grew up in Mie, Japan and moved to the United States to complete B.S Chemistry at Hanover College in Indiana. The interest is to develop the methods to monitor live cell dynamics and investigate how live cells intake the probes. Outside of the lab, Yuka likes finding thrift stores in Seattle, coffee, and traveling.
