Closed to Enrollment / Ongoing Visits
The purpose of this clinical trial is to test the immune response and safety of a single dose of a Novavax investigational COVID-19 vaccine (NVX-CoV-2601) that uses SARS-CoV-2 Omicron antigen compared to the original Novavax vaccine. The study vaccine is still under investigation and has not received approval by regulatory agencies.
The trial will last for approximately 6 months and will involve 3 in‐person visits and one phone call visit. Study visits will involve a physical exam, vital signs, vaccine injection, and blood draws.
To be eligible for this study you:
- Are at least 18 years of age
- Have received at least 3 doses of the Moderna and/or Pfizer/BioNTech monovalent and/or bivalent COVID-19 vaccines with the last dose administered 90 days or more prior to study vaccination
Conditions which would prevent you from participating:
- Current pregnancy or breastfeeding
Compensation:
Participants will be compensated $320 for completing the entire study.
Clinic Location: Our clinic is located on the 11th floor of the Ninth and Jefferson Building at Harborview Medical Center. We are open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
