We are a group of researchers hosted by the Computer Science and Systems Program at the Tacoma School of Engineering and Technology, University of Washington. Decentralized computing refers to the next-generation computing paradigm in which distributed peer-to-peer nodes make independent decisions to achieve consensus. Cryptocurrency like Bitcoin is a classic application that employs blockchain and consensus models to achieve decentralization. We work on various topics in decentralized computing, including Multimedia Systems (Web3, Multimedia, and HCI), Social Computing (Data Analysis) and Mechanism Design (Game Theory).
