About Us

Wetland remote sensing research is done through Dr. L. Monika Moskal’s  Remote Sensing and Geospatial Lab (RSGAL) and the Precision Forestry Cooperative (PFC) in the College of the Environment and School of Environmental and Forestry Sciences at the University of Washington (UW).  Our work utilizes a combination of remote sensing techniques and ecology to identify and preserve wetlands ecosystems throughout Washington State with an emphasis on forested wetlands.
