UW WordPress Users Group

About WordPress Users Group (WPUG)

WordPress is used in many different ways and our members range from content editors to system administrators. We crowdsource solutions, elicit recommendations, and discuss best practices via our email list. Meetings are comprised of presentations and open discussion. All from the UW community are welcome, regardless of skill level, so come share your WordPress work with us!

Goals of the WordPress Users Group (WPUG) are:

  • Empower the WordPress community on campus through collaboration
  • Provide a venue for UW WordPress users to share, support, and learn best practices, campus tools, and branding guidelines

Why Join the WordPress Users Group?

The benefits go beyond just a monthly meetup.  Our group offers:

  • Huge platform with much off-campus support
  • Brainstorming and problem solving
  • Where and how to best use WordPress on campus
  • Do the most within the brand/theme
  • Wider audience: content work vs hosted vs development roles
  • Applicable to all users of all skill levels
