Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine Clerkship

Intra-Operative Teaching Topics

It is recommended, but not required, that you review these topics (and/or others not on this list) with the attendings, residents, and/or CRNAs to whom you are assigned. Please try to review as many as possible during the rotation including others not on this list that may come up during the course of patient care. This sheet is for your reference to ensure that you have covered the major topics while on your clerkship rotation. If you choose to take the Oral Exam at the conclusion of the rotation (advanced anesthesiology clerkships only), the topics covered will be used to generate the clinical scenarios.
