The University of Washington Department of Chemistry Master of Science in Applied Chemical Science & Technology (MSACST) invites all interested STEM students to an online information session about the program.
The application for starting in Autumn 2026 or Winter 2027 is open!
The Priority Consideration deadline is January 31, 2026.

MSACST is designed for STEM students interested in advanced chemical and data science tools for careers in biotech, pharmaceuticals, clean energy, climate science and more.
The program features a cutting-edge curriculum with the opportunity to conduct research with nationally and internationally recognized faculty, in a flexible format that allows students to choose between 3 Tracks and complete their degree in 1 or 2 years.
Faculty supporting MSACST student research experiences are from diverse departments across the UW campus, including Biochemistry, Chemistry, Atmospheric & Climate Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Medicinal Chemistry, Oceanography, Laboratory Medicine & Pathology, and more.
The information session will describe program requirements and the 3 program Tracks, and will provide information about our MSACST alumni career paths, positions, and success. Bring your questions!
We hope you will join us to learn more about MSACST and we look forward to meeting you!
