Bombus on Pacific Ninebark by Emma Waltho

Bee fly, Lupin flower, Bombus, and Bombus with cap by Tori Evans
Honeybee

you see, im small and hairy
brown and gold stripes on my belly
you’ll find me near salmonberries
where the nectar is rich and yummy
i sip the nectar, so bold and sweet
collect pollen with baskets on my feet
it’s my role to let my friends know
where the flowers need love to grow
our sacred tree is called a hive
building with teamwork keeps us alive
we work as one, a buzzing team
a world in bloom – is our dream
when you see me in the breeze,
remember to respect your bees
we are tiny forces in natures crew
