Once again the Pacific Northwest Section of the American Water Works Association is offering scholarships to students attending colleges and universities in our region. These scholarships are intended for students whose major coursework may point them toward a career in the public water supply industry. Eligible academic areas include but are not limited to water supply operation/technology, civil or environmental engineering or public administration/finance.

Over the years, over 100 students from Pacific Northwest colleges and universities have received scholarships from this program. Last year’s nine awards ranged from $2,500 to
$4,000.

PNW AWWA Scholarship applications for the 2016 – 2017 academic year must be submitted by students to Dave Leland at the address below by Friday, February 26, 2016.

The scholarships will be awarded at our Annual Conference to be held May 4 – 6, 2016, in Boise, Idaho.
