FYI — Scholarship for women students in science/engineering fields who are currently sophomore or juniors.

In past years, you have kindly helped publicize the scholarship program of the Seattle chapter of the Association for Women in Science (AWIS).  I hope that you can do this again.

In June of this year, Seattle AWIS will award scholarships to several undergraduate women who are majoring in science, math or engineering fields at colleges and universities in Washington, and will enter their junior or senior year in the fall.  Scholarship winners are selected based on academic achievement, financial need, motivation to pursue a science-based career, and a record of community service.

The 2019 application is in the attached file. The application deadline is March 1.  Please forward this application to your students who are eligible to apply.  Applicants can download the application, fill it out, and submit it electronically or can go to the Seattle AWIS website (https://seattleawis.org) to fill out the application online.
