Job Opportunity: Peer Facilitator with the UW Humans and the Environment Program

The UW Humans and the Environment Program is looking to fill a Peer Facilitator position in August.

They are now accepting applications to help lead the three week field course. This is a good opportunity for those students  interested in environmental education, urban sustainability, or international studies/education.  Below is a description of the program.

 

Program description:

The International & English Language Programs is looking for Peer Facilitators, for an August Environment and English Language course, Husky Job # 90216. Peers will work closely with students from Keio University, Japan, by helping to lead field trips (including one overnight to Mt Rainier) and foster the international experience. The program explores topics of waste, transportation, forest management, water quality, green building, and urban food systems. Students and recent graduates interested in ecology, built environments, international learning, teaching, or meeting people from abroad are encouraged to apply.
