Child Health Equity Research

Apply

Eligibility:

Outstanding applicants who have completed either MD/DO, and/or PhD degrees (including equivalent terminal degrees) who are committed to a career leading child health equity research among diverse, under-served populations. Eligible physician applicants must have completed an accredited 3-year (minimum) residency program in the United States; applicants with other clinical backgrounds must have completed similar required clinical training. Eligible pediatrician-applicants must be either board-eligible or board-certified in pediatrics. Applicants in a pediatric sub-specialty fellowship are welcome to apply. This fellowship is unique in that one of its primary goals is to increase the number of underrepresented racial/ethnic (UR) researchers who are independently funded scientists in child health equity research. Our recruitment is focused on UR trainees, however, all applicants will be considered.  Finally, applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents to be eligible for the training program as specified by the NIH program announcement for T32 Institutional Research Training Grants.
