CAIT EVELYN
Cait, LVT, is a Research Scientist/Engineer II in the Veterinary Services unit of the Department of Comparative Medicine at the University of Washington (UW). Cait strives to ensure that the animals at the UW receive state-of-the-art veterinary care, and provides support on a variety of animal research projects. She believes strongly that cultivating awareness of, and support for, laboratory animal professionals to address Compassion Fatigue in positive, proactive ways, is a mission whose importance cannot be overstated.
Cait earned her LVT in Seattle, WA, and honed her veterinary technical skills in private practice for seven years prior to joining the UW Veterinary Services team in 2005.
