DR. CAROLYN MALINOWSKI

Carolyn is a veterinarian for the Washington National Primate Center at the Arizona Breeding Center.  She began her training in the field of laboratory animal medicine as a veterinary technician for the U.S. Army in 2001 and then continued on as a training manager at Northwestern University. She is a Certified Manager of Animal Resources (CMAR), a Certified Professional IACUC Administrator (CPIA) and has graduated from the Institute of Laboratory Animal Management (ILAM). Carolyn attended veterinary school at the University of Melbourne in Australia and completed a re

sidency in Laboratory Animal Medicine at the University of Florida. She is very active in the laboratory animal medicine community and sits on committees for the American Association of Laboratory Animal Science (AALAS), the Association of Primate Veterinarians (APV), and the American Society of Laboratory Animal Practitioners (ASLAP).

Carolyn is passionate not only about the care and welfare of laboratory animals, but also the humans that care for them. She strives to provide a work environment where animals and employees are healthy and happy.
