Congratulations, Dr. Kyle T. Kluherz!

Congratulations to Kyle Kluherz, a graduate student jointly advised by Jim and Professor Daniel Gamelin, to have successfully defended his thesis titled “Structural investigations of ytterbium dopant sites and elpasolite nanocrystal structure.” During his Ph.D. studies, Kyle made important contributions to understanding defect structures in doped halide perovskite and elpasolite nanocrystals. After completion of his graduate program at UW, Kyle will be heading to the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Golden, Colorado for his postdoctoral research.
