The University of Washington Lung Transplant Biorepository / The Cystic Fibrosis Lung Transplant Consortium is designed to create a clinical registry with linked respiratory and blood biospecimens. At the University of Washington, we have a particular interest in understanding how the host response to respiratory viral infections might lead to development of chronic lung allograft dysfunction. The overall goal of this clinical dataset and biorepository is to support diverse lines of research designed to improve our understanding of the factors that influence lung transplant outcomes.
