About
Health Advocacy for Care and Kindness is an RSO that was founded by a group of students at the University of Washington who came together to help improve the quality of life for those who are unhoused or are facing risk of homelessness in the U-district. As well, we are an activist group that brings awareness to the UW student population about the issues of housing on low-income and marginalized communities, and how we as a school can work together to help others. In order to better the community, we organize fundraisers to procure hygiene and health products that are assembled and distributed to those in need. As well, we work with other student organizations to bring awareness campaigns to campus about the issues of homelessness in Seattle.
