Inclusion in Chemical Sciences (InCS-UW) is a student group at the University of Washington. Our mission is to educate and empower people in science and their supporters by providing a safe and open space for dialogue, mentorship, collaboration, camaraderie, and skill building through a variety of activities including guest speakers and panels, student-facilitated discussions, workshops, and outreach to primary, secondary, and post-secondary institutions.

The InCS Annual Lecture 2024 at the UW Chemistry department was a huge success with a great turnout of chemistry department undergraduate, graduate, and faculty! Dr. Christina M Jones from NIST give an illuminating talk on her experiences in STEM, the barriers she faced, and the immense number of projects she founded and participated in to bring more diversity into the STEM community. Thank you Dr. Jones!
