Welcome to the online Graduate Student Research Institute (GSRI), sponsored by UW Libraries.
GSRI is a free online workshop and will take place asynchronously over a 5 day period. Each day will consist of:
- an introduction to a new research topic and skill
- a tour of specific resources to help you get started
- a choice of activities to practice skills and become familiar with resources
- an opportunity for discussion to help you engage with the material and your peers
In addition to the other students in the course, you will also have daily opportunities to interact with librarians and experts from the UW Libraries. These volunteers are here to lend support, answer questions using their disciplinary knowledge, and help you grow as a graduate student researcher.
