Activity: Explore Sage Research Methods

Overview

Sage Research Methods (SRM) helps you to learn about, select, and practice research methodologies for your social science or behavioral research project.  It covers quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods research methodologies through an interactive methods map, instructional videos, case studies, full text books (including the complete series of Little Green and Little Blue book series), and a project planner.

Why use SRM?

SRM leads you through the research process providing information and tools to help you:

  1. Define a research topic
  2. Develop research questions
  3. Conduct a literature review
  4. Choose a method for gathering and analyzing your data
  5. Gather, analyze, and present data

Activity: Explore SRM

  • Go to Requires UW loginSage Research Methods.
  • Find the Methods map by clicking on Research Tools and then choosing Methods Map

  • Choose a narrower term of interest and continue to narrow until you find a methodology of interest.
