M3D students Jocelyn Cervantes of the Kanter lab and Nikhita Poole of the Gustafson and Newell labs both received the NCOR-KUH TL1 grant. They are two of the three pre-doctoral trainees who received this award, along with 6 postdoctoral trainees.
Jocelyn’s research project is entitled Does CD36 mediate diabetes-induced monocyte lipid loading, and does it contribute to diabetic kidney disease? and Nikhita’s research project is entitled The roles of granulocytes in HLH and HLH-like toxicities following immunotherapy
