The data is finally coming in for this – so I thought I would post an update on what I’ve learned so far.
Businesses:
- Most of the businesses that responded applied for, and received the Paycheck Protection Program
- The Main Street businesses had to lay off over 75% of their workers in Phase 1
- Businesses did refuse entry to patrons who would not follow the public health requirements
People:
People are concerned by the public health measures being implemented, with over 84% of the respondents that ate out at least once a month saying that restaurants implementing public health measures would positively influences them “A little” or “A lot”.
