On April 28, the Center for Business Analytics (CBA), in collaboration with the Milgard Success Center, held its first annual Tri-Campus Career Fair for Data & Analytics.
The University of Washington (UW) is a leader in the Northwest who develops skilled data and analytics experts among our graduate and undergraduate student population. At the UW Tri-Campus Virtual Career Fair for Data & Analytics, we welcome organizations who are looking to fill positions in:

- Statistics
University of Washington (UW) students majoring in fields related to data and analytics from all three campuses attended the fair. Half of the student attendees were from the Tacoma campus, with a strong representation of students from the Milgard School of Business.
Employers like Providence, DaVita, Delta Dental, DSHS’s Research & Analytics division, MAQ Software, NAVSEA, Pierce County, and the WA State Health Care Authority attended the fair. The majority of employers were looking to fill fulltime job and internship positions.
The fair was held virtually through Handshake, a platform for student recruitment. Through this virtual platform, employers were able to set up group and/or 1:1 sessions with students. It was a great networking opportunity. As one student participant shared:
“Thank you for setting up the Tri-Campus Career Fair for Data & Analytics. It has been an excellent opportunity! I have made some great contacts and have been able to learn more about the organizations in attendance. Your efforts are greatly appreciated!”
The CBA is looking forward to hosting another data and analytics career fair in 2022.
