MMIG

The Mitochondria and Metabolism Interest Group (MMIG) is composed of researchers from the University of Washington and affiliated institutions who have active research in the areas of metabolism and mitochondria. Each month, current research findings from MMIG members are presented and discussed in a seminar format.

MMIG Presentations Schedule:

Location: UW Medicine at South Lake Union, 850 Republican St., Seattle, WA 98109

The MMIG will be held on the first Monday of the month from 12:15 pm – 1:15 pm. A light lunch will be provided. We will feature two speakers at each meeting, one group will cover biological discoveries, and the second will focus on laboratory techniques.

Below is the schedule for 2024:

Jan. 8th, 2024 Ana Valencia Massiel Chavez Stolla, PhD
Feb. 5th, 2024 Nicole Marsh (Sancak Lab) Ruohola-Baker Lab
Mar. 4th, 2024 David Sokolov (Sullivan Lab) Jorge Chapa (Lood Lab)
