Job Opportunity: Ostroms Drug & Gift Pharmacy Assistant

 

Matt Binder, a former UWSOP student (class of 2017), is currently looking for pharmacy assistants to help out at an independent community pharmacy called Ostroms Drug and Gift located in Kenmore, WA. Available hours are nights and weekends and they’d be interested in keeping the prospective employee as they become a pharmacy student. This opportunity is unique in that (as opposed to other assistant positions) they offer compounding experience as well as business experience within an independent pharmacy that may not be as accessible in a chain store. Necessary skills include communication, customer service, and willingness to learn. Living near Kenmore is a plus but not necessary. Preference may be given to those who have already been accepted into UWSOP but we definitely encourage you to still apply if you’re interested.
