Qintao Chen is pursuing an MS in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Washington. He is currently studying and conducting research on pressure-sensitive paint.

Simon is a Senior pursuing a B.S. in Physics and a B.S. in Astronomy. His research focuses primarily on developing and maintaining the HST background-oriented schlieren system, implementing data acquisition systems, and tunnel operation. Interests of his include high-redshift galactic evolution, stellar dynamics, and mechatronics.

Andrew investigates unsteady film evaporation. He is working on 3D Particle Tracking Velocimetry to observe the convective structure in unsteady evaporating films. Detailed understanding of the convective structure can improve fundamental understanding and has the potential to improve overall heat transfer. In his free time he enjoys cooking, spending time outdoors, and playing basketball. Andrew is currently pursuing his PhD in Aeronautics and Astronautics. He received his M.S. from the UW in 2020 and his B.S. in engineering and B.A. in economics from Swarthmore College in 2018.

Aileen is a senior pursuing a B.S. in Aeronautics and Astronautics. Her current research interests include aerodynamics and pressure-sensitive paints.

Daniel received his B.S. in aeronautics and astronautics. His current research is focused on the construction of a hypersonic wind tunnel.

Hugh is a junior pursuing a BS in Aeronautics and Astronautics Engineering. His current work involves operating and performing maintenance on the hypersonic wind tunnel.

Lucas is a Junior pursuing a B.S. in Aeronautics and Astronautics. His interests include fluid dynamics and ballistics. 

Noah is pursuing a MS in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in mechatronics. His research currently focuses on 2D Image Registration for Pressure-Sensitive and Temperature-Sensitive Paint. Interests of his include product design, electronics, and acoustic engineering.
