Daily Hassles and Health Survey Available in Two Locations
United States and Canada
THANK YOU!
Thank you to all participants in the Health Disparities Research Study for taking this survey. Without you, this study would not have been possible. Your participation will help us to generate new insights into the relationship between daily hassles and health both here and abroad.
GOAL
We are interested in learning about the way in which positive and negative social experiences impact health. The goal of this study is to understand how these experiences change by group and how they result in differences in self-reported health among respondents in this study. This is especially true among communities of color who are disproportionality impacted by negative health conditions. This study aims to identify these social experiences so that we can provide recommendations for protecting and improving health.
CONFIDENTIALITY
It is important to us that your privacy is protected. We follow strict guidelines given to us by the University of Washington Internal Review Board (UW IRB) to make sure that your information is kept confidential. We never give out names or other identifiable information and have received UW IRB approval to conduct this study. If you choose to provide contact information such as your phone number or email address, your information will be removed from your responses and replaced with an ID number for confidentiality. Confidentiality is critical to our team and therefore we use rigorous security measures to protect study information.
