About the Staying Connected through Communication Survey for Family, Friends, and Coworkers

Do you qualify for this survey?
You meet the inclusion criteria for this survey if you:
- Are age 18 years or older
- Live in the U.S.
- Do NOT live in a nursing home or similar medical facility (it is ok if you live in a retirement home that does not provide medical care)
- Speak English comfortably enough to complete a questionnaire and participate in an interview
- Are the family / friend/ co-worker of someone with Parkinson’s disease, laryngeal dystonia (spasmodic dysphonia), or head and neck cancer
- Do not have any cognitive or language impairments
This survey is ongoing. We require that the person with the diagnosis begin the study first. Please share this webpage with a person you know with any of the diagnosis listed on the main page. If you are not sure if you qualify and / or have other questions, email us at speaclab@uw.edu
