The Hines VA Speech Pathology Department is pleased to announce that we are offering TWO Clinical Fellowship Positions for the 2017/2018 fiscal year.
The position will include evaluation and treatment of both inpatients and outpatients of various disorders within a variety of settings. You will interact professionally with specialty services including Neurology, ENT, SCI, Medicine, Nutrition, Nursing, and other rehabilitation therapies. You will gain experience and provide services in all areas of medical speech pathology, including evaluation/treatment of individuals with dysphagia, speech and language disorders, cognitive disorders, voice disorders, and tracheostomy. You may also gain specialized experience in cognitive rehabilitation for veterans with TBI/polytrauma, and laryngectomy care. The appointments would begin in August of 2017 and are temporary without potential to become permanent positions. Approximate salary is $42,000 plus benefits.
