This an an opportunity to particpate in a training workshop with Molly Lannon Kenny, MS-CCC, SLP who graduated from the UW Speech and Hearing Sciences Department. She formerly worked as a clinician and autism specialist at Group Health Speech, Language and Learning Services. She later founded The Samarya Center in Seattle in 2001 – a holistic center for yoga and wellness, specializing in working with people of all ages with serious life challenges.

In this workshop, participants use experiential activities and exercises to learn how to address the six core areas when working with children with a variety of challenges, including autism spectrum disorders, Down Syndrome, and behavioral and social challenges. This workshop is practical, heart centered, playful and leads to excellent results in working with kids of any age. This workshop is perfect for therapists, yoga students, educators, parents. All of the activities are excellent for typically developing kids, and lend themselves to not just fun but real measurable progress. Completion of IMT Basics is a prerequisite.

Cost is $525 for the weekend or $475 if paid in full by April 7. 20% discount extended to all clinicians currently working with kids with special needs, and for parents of kids with special needs. Some scholarships also available.
Please note: IMT Basics is an eight hour pre-requisite to the weekend trainings. These workshops are available as on-line courses, the next one is offered March 13, 15, 20 & 27.
