POSITION VACANCY

POSITION: LECTURER IN SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY (9 months at 100%)
DUTIES:
Responsible for clinical education and supervision of students in speech language pathology in the area of pediatric communication disorders, and provision of direct client services to sustain a teaching caseload. The applicant may be involved in undergraduate and graduate didactic
teaching within the department. Duties as assigned by the Director of Clinical Education and the Chair contribute to the vision and mission of the clinic, department and university.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Interest in and at least five years experience in the areas of pediatric communication disorders. Specific skills include evidence-based comprehensive evaluation and individual and group treatment methods for children, as well as inclusion of education and counseling for
parents/family. The required credential for applicants is CCC-SLP and eligibility for speech-language pathology licensure in Washington State. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in clinical education and supervision.
SALARY AND BENEFITS:
Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience; a full range of fringe benefits is available. Summer quarter employment for an additional two months is available and is preferred.
