Pace University M.S. in Communications Sciences and Disorders Faculty Tenure Track Position

Pace University’s Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) program in the College of Health Professions seeks qualified applicants for a tenure track faculty position, with principal responsibilities in the graduate program. Area of specialization must be in child and adolescent language development and phonology for this Full-time Tenure Track Academic Faculty position in the Master of Science Degree Program, currently in application for a Candidacy by the American Council on Academic Accreditation and anticipated to open Sept. 2018. The position will be located on our New York City Campus (163 William St., New York, NY). Primary responsibilities will be teaching and mentorship of graduate and undergraduate students, scholarship, and service. In addition, candidates will be able to contribute to the ongoing development of undergraduate and graduate programs in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Applicants will serve on CSD, College, and University Committee(s) as required. External service to the profession and community are expected. Position entails a nine-month appointment with stipend or additional compensation for any summer assignments.

Education and Experience:

  • Doctoral degree is Speech-Language Pathology (earned PhD or EdD)
  • Eligibility for a tenure track, faculty appointment at Associate Professor rank is preferred
  • Teaching and research experience in child and adolescent language development and phonology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and New York State Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology or established eligibility
  • Demonstrated record of ongoing scholarly productivity in area of expertise including funded research and/or post-doctorate work
