Assistant Professor – Speech-Language Pathology; Full-time; Tenure-track; Beginning Fall 2018 pending final funding. Salary: Commensurate with Education & Experience.
Duties: The Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences at Lamar University, invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Speech-Language Pathology. We are seeking an individual with expertise in child speech and/or language disorders. Individuals with a clinical and research focus in autism or bilingualism are encouraged to apply. The Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences offers three degree programs: B.S. in Speech and Hearing Science, M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology, and Au.D. in Audiology. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, clinical supervision, and maintaining a line of research and scholarly activities. Summer employment opportunities and funds for equipment may be available.
Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications: Doctoral degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field with CCC–SLP and Texas license, or eligible. Those currently working on a doctoral degree will be considered. Prior university teaching or supervisory experience will be considered an asset. Official transcripts are required at the time of employment.
