Private Practice Audiologist (Lincoln, NE)

Ear, Nose, & Throat Specialties, P.C., is a multi-physician ENT practice located in Lincoln, NE.
Our company has been in private practice for over 25 years and we have an exciting
opportunity for a full-time Audiologist who is eager to grow with us at our brand new location!

life insurance, short/long term disability. Licensure fees paid yearly with continuing education
assistance available yearly. Salary dependent upon experience.

Qualifications:
 Au.D. or Ph.D. in Audiology. Currently licensed or be able to obtain an Audiology license
for the State of Nebraska. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A)
is also preferred.
 Experience in comprehensive diagnostic audiological evaluations working with adult
and pediatric populations.
 Expertise in testing and interpreting Visual Response Audiometry, Conditioned Play
Audiometry, Auditory Brainstem Response testing, tinnitus matching, Stenger,
Eustachian tube function tests, and Distortion Product Oto-Acoustic Emissions.
 Ability to diagnose and treat Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo.
 Experience and competence in full range of hearing instrument services including
osseo-integrated devices.
 Completes accurate and timely documentation of services in accordance with
professional and compliance standards

Responsibilities:
 Establish rapport with and gather history from patients; conduct audiometric testing
and make appropriate recommendations.
 Utilize outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to provide patients with
hearing solutions.
 Provide exceptional aftercare and follow-up services to patients
 Professional interaction with patients, physicians and staff.
 Complete a variety of different diagnostic tests:

o Comprehensive audiometry, including masked and unmasked pure-tone air and
bone thresholds, speech reception/awareness thresholds, and word recognition
scores.
o Visual reinforcement and conditioned play audiometry.
o Tinnitus matching.
o Immittance audiometry, including tympanometry, acoustic reflex thresholds, and
decay, and Eustachian tube function tests.
o Auditory Brainstem Response testing for failed universal newborn screenings,
suspected retro-cochlear etiologies, suspected malingerers— including test
interpretation.
o Distortion product optoacoustic emissions testing and interpretation.
o Canalith repositioning procedures including Semont, Epley, and Barrel-roll
maneuvers as needed.
