CF Positions at Lakeshore Professional Voice Center (St. Clair Shores, MI)

Lakeshore Professional Voice Center (LPVC), Lakeshore Ear, Nose & Throat Center is accepting applications for 2 clinical fellowship positions in voice pathology beginning in the summer/fall of 2020. LPVC is located in St. Clair Shores, MI outside of Detroit.  LPVC provides outstanding training for evaluation and treatment of all voice disorders, including the speaking and singing voice, as well as swallowing and airway disorders. Clinical fellows train under the tutelage of Juliana Codino, MS, CCC-SLP, PhDC and laryngologist, Adam Rubin, M.D. and experience an interdisciplinary team approach to care of the patient. Clinical fellows become proficient in voice therapy, acoustic and aerodynamic assessment, respiratory retraining, videostroboscopy and flexible endoscopic evaluation of swallowing. Opportunities to participate in research and teaching of speech pathology students are provided as well.

 This is a 1-year fellowship.  The requirements for applicants are as follows:

  1. 2 year master’s degree in speech pathology from an ASHA accredited program
  2. Particular interest in voice
  3. Singing experience preferred, but not required
  4. All materials should be merged into a single PDF file and should include:
    • Letter of intent
    • Curriculum vitae
    • Official graduate transcript
    • 2 letters of recommendation with at least one from a clinical supervisor
