Speech Language Pathologist needed at an acute inpatient rehab hospital in Bakersfield, California that provides a higher level of comprehensive rehabilitation services with all the most innovative equipment and the latest technology with an experienced staff to mentor a new grad.

We treat mostly neuro patients with stroke, BI, Parkinson’s, MS, myopathies, and encephalopathy. Some of the other patients our SLP’s may see are patients with memory or cognitive declines that are new or not at baseline. Our speech therapists provide a wide variety of treatments including: bedside swallow assessment and progression of diet, cognitive therapy, language therapy, aphasia treatment, dysarthria treatment, and functional situational awareness training.
CFY candidates need to be strong in medical management and dysphagia training to be a good fit at our hospital.
