Nexus Therapy is now hiring for speech-language pathologists seeking a full-time CFY opportunity for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year! These positions would be working on-site with a great smaller, yet supportive district near lovely Oak Harbor, Washington. These positions pay $60 per hour and you can bill for up to 7.5 hours per day worked (37.5 hours/week)! Must be licensed as a SLP in the state of Washington. DUTIES:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students’ specific needs.
- Provide therapy sessions to improve students’ speech and language skills.
- Collaborate with other educators, to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Monitor students’ progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Provide education and guidance to students, families, and caregivers on speech and language development strategies.
- QUALIFICATIONS:Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Washington license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working with individuals with speech, language, and communication, disorders.
- Knowledge of assessment tools and therapeutic techniques used in speech-language pathology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, families, and other educational professionals.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
