2 SLP/CFY Positions, Kindering (Bellevue & Renton, WA)

Location: (2 openings) Redmond, and Renton WA Pay scale: DOE FLSA Status: Exempt Hours: 40 hours/week; M-F

What is the role? As a Speech Language Pathologist with our Early Intervention program, you’ll work with children ages 0-3 years old who have developmental delays or special needs. Through individualized home visits, you’ll enhance children’s development through direct intervention and parent coaching.

What are the duties?

  • Assess each child’s developmental level of functioning.
  • Design and implement treatment plan at Kindering, home, or community child care as needed;
  • Conduct formal evaluations of performance.
  • Prepare progress reports; review medical reports; seek medical referral, consultation, and advice as necessary; and maintain accurate records of contact for each child.
  • Participate in the development of each child’s total program as part of a interdisciplinary team.
  • Design and/or assist in developing alternate communications systems; educate parents/ care givers in therapeutic interventions.
  • Participate in Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) conferences in cooperation with team and provide services to the child and family in accordance with the IFS.

Who you are!

  • Master’s degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology (in fulfillment of the requirements of the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association); eligible for Certificate of Clinical Compliance (CFY’s welcome to apply!)
  • Valid WA. State Department of Health SLP license, or eligible for interim license if CFY.
