ACI Alliance CI2020 Overview and Student Opportunities

The American Cochlear Implant (ACI) Alliance (www.acialliance.org) invites students and residents with an interest in hearing loss and auditory implants to attend the CI2020 International, which will be held March 18-21, 2020 in Orlando, FL.

Students will be provided a discounted students’ rate and the ACI will be offering student scholarships to attend the conference, along with a poster competition opportunity.

This conference will provide students the occasion to meet over 1300 physicians, audiologists, speech pathologists, educators, hearing scientists, and members of the industry.

Conference Details

The conference will be held March 18-21, 2020 at The Hyatt Regency in Orlando, FL. This conference will gather clinicians and scientists in the Cochlear Implant field; it will explore a comprehensive set of emerging issue topics relating to cochlear implants and other auditory hearing devices. This conference will bring together audiologists, surgeons, rehabilitation specialists, educators, researchers, and industry representatives for an educational, thought-provoking dialogue and collaborative inquiry.

Student Discounts and Scholarships Due December 13

Students will receive a reduced registration rate and ACI Alliance is offering scholarship opportunities as part of a competitive process for a limited number of students/fellows. Scholarship awards will include registration, a $120 travel stipend to help offset expenses, and a one-year student membership in ACI Alliance. Scholarship recipients are required to attend the conference in full. Application forms are available now and due no later than December 13, 2019 https://www.acialliance.org/page/CI2020.

Student Poster Competition (abstracts now closed)

A Student Poster Competition will be held for those enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, residency, or fellowship program. An academic adviser or another university official must verify student/resident status. Visit https://www.acialliance.org/page/CI2020 to review additional details. Submission for abstracts is now closed for CI2020.
