UG or Grad Student Job

My company is looking to hire a part time rehab coordinator for the therapy department at Timber Ridge in Issaquah . It’s basically a scheduling and insurance verification job. Career Fair Feb. 28th

On behalf of the Washington University Student Occupational Therapy Association (WUSOTA), we would like to invite you to participate in this year’s online Therapy Career Fair.  The Therapy Career Fair is a great opportunity for students in occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech language pathology programs to connect with vendors from across the country and learn more about potential employment opportunities. Vendors will be presenting information about their organizations, as well as answering any questions you may have as potential employees. 

 The 2022 Therapy Career fair is scheduled for Monday, February 28, 2022 from 9am-4pm CST. This year, the fair will be held over Zoom and will include both a morning and an afternoon session.  Students can register for the Career Fair using the following link: https://forms.gle/ZNcnbcqUtCxanWTA9.

The Odegaard Writing and Research Center (OWRC) is launching a new asynchronous virtual resource, Working on It, aimed at helping graduate students develop and refine a writing process that works for them. Session 2: Networking with Professionals (6 pm – 7:30 pm, space is limited)

Core Programs—Office of Graduate Student Affairs in The Graduate School and the Career & Internship Center (Seattle campus) are partnering to host virtual career development sessions in spring 2021, focused on graduate student career exploration beyond academia.

 

Virtual Session 1: Career Exploration Insights & Strategies

 

During Session 1, you will learn:

  • Career insights from guest speakers. These are professionals working outside of academia who have earned UW doctoral degrees in the Social Sciences and STEM fields
  • Ways to identify your job skills and how to showcase them
  • Strategies for an effective job search
  • How to start your action plan for career exploration

You’ll also be able to ask questions of Career & Internship Center and Core Programs staff during the session.

 

Virtual Session 2: Networking with Professionals (space is limited to 30 participants)

 

During Session 2, you will be able to:

  • Network with professionals working outside of academia who have earned UW doctoral degrees in the Social Sciences and STEM fields.
