We have a part-time speech therapist position open here at Newport Hospital and Health Services, North of Spokane. The caseload is primarily outpatient pediatrics and we work closely with the local school district. We also see some adult patients.
Scheduled hours per pay period: 20 hours per pay period.
Job Summary:
A Speech-Language Pathologist evaluates and treats patients per physician order utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques. They communicate with families, providers and other health team members regarding patients. They maintain timely documentation in the medical record, enters accurate charges for services rendered, and participates in Rehab team meetings and other meetings as needed. They maintain current clinical knowledge through continuing education

Summary: One of our clients, pediatric therapy practice clinic seeking an SLP to join their growing team of SLPs.Team is dynamic, supportive, flexible, and positive. We encourage clinical fellows to apply for their CFY. SLP-assistants (SLPAs) will also be considered. We offer a stable and positive work environment with potential for career growth. This position is full-time.We provide both in-person and telethealth services but this candidate needs to be able to be onsite for in-person visits for at least 80% of the hours worked.Job Responsibilities include:
Qualifications: BS (SLP-A), MS or MA and ASHA Certification in Speech & Language Pathology, current Washington State License (or eligibility to obtain license) from the Department of Health.

Job Description:
The Division of Speech and Language Pathology in the Decker College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Binghamton University is hiring for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP). The successful candidate will be a creative individual who is responsible for providing therapy with community partners. The assignment will be to work primarily early intervention clients, and other types of populations will also be assigned based on the individuals interest. These are 12-month positions, starting July 1st, 2023 and ending on June 30th, 2024 (Note: there is an option to continue for a second year). The Research Foundation at Binghamton University offers competitive salary and benefit package, which will include the use of a computer and significant continuing education funding.
Each SLP will be assigned a mentor who is a member of the faculty in the Division of Speech and Language Pathology. Furthermore, each SLP will be required to enroll in one Ph.D. course each semester (fall and spring) as well as complete ongoing continuing education experience.
